This session will provide an overview of the work of the Freight and Logistics Council of WA in planning for long term certainty for freight and logistics operations across the state.

Chair of the Freight and Logistics Council of WA, Nicole Lockwood, will also give delegates an update on the development of the Westport: Port and Environs Strategy, a long-term supply chain strategy to optimise freight, trade and logistics needs from Fremantle and Kwinana to Bunbury.

Nicole will also discuss the importance of developing and maintaining a social licence for the freight industry, through creating expectations among the community that freight is a valued system contributing to community well-being and prosperity.
