Wayne Herbert is an outspoken public speaker, comedian, and advocate for the rights of and opportunities for people with disability and the LGBTIQ community.

Wayne’s mission is to change the conversation around disability from “what can’t you do?” to “what are you amazing at?”.

In 2017, Wayne was featured in TEDx Canberra and was awarded the ACT Chief Minister’s inclusion award for Making Inclusion Happen. For his extensive work on diversity and inclusion, Wayne was a nominee for the 2017 ACT Australian of the Year award and a finalist for the ACT Chief Minister’s awards again in 2018.
